Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Jacksonville Butler Boulevard

We had an excellent 4-night stay at this Fairfield Inn. Our 5th floor room was new, clean and quiet. Nice shower and the convenience of a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The HVAC system worked well and the equipment quite quiet considering the unit was next to the bed. I'd say the complimentary breakfast was a notch above average. The standards were available but I was happy to see a hot oatmeal "bar" with a dozen nut, seed and dried fruit toppings. Would happily stay here again.

Newly renovated hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, bedding was comfortable. Slept great. I like that there's a blanket to use in place of the heavy awkward comforter. Breakfast was nice. They had individual quiche that were very tasty. There's a nice size pool with separate hot tub. Safe area of town.

I have had several stays here. Regular rooms and suites. The hotel has many restaurants in close proximity. Close to 95 and 15 mins from the Mayo Clinic. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I believe the price matches the level of comfort and quality. I have always been pleased.

We chose this hotel for the Level 2 EV chargers, and luckily one was available when we arrived, allowing us to charge overnight. Out of four chargers, one wasn’t functional, and the working one was partially blocked by a non-EV vehicle. Fortunately, the cable was long enough to reach our truck, but it would be great if the hotel maintained the chargers better and enforced EV-only parking. The hotel itself was very clean and modern, and the bed was extremely comfortable with nice sheets. On the downside, the room felt quite dark, with only small, dim bedside lamps and no ceiling or bright floor lighting. The bathroom, while remodeled in a modern style, showed some poor workmanship—the toilet was crooked and the shower valve trim wasn’t aligned properly. Overall, a mostly positive stay with some areas for improvement, especially for EV guests.

Came here for a basketball tournament. Booked last minute. The guy working night shifts on my stay was amazing. Friendly and polite. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable! Breakfast was really nice and so was the sweet lady working it. I love all the topping choices for the oatmeal! Pool was clean. Overall great stay.

As Marriotts go these days, this is a lovely property. Management obviously cares a lot about details, from the look of their lobby, to the halls, and the guest rooms. Everything is tastefully done, and the staff members were all friendly and efficient. The only complaints were a bathroom fan (Room 307) that sounded like a B-52 taking off, and walls thin enough that noise became a bit of an issue. Otherwise, we had a comfortable, pleasant stay.

Tracy at the front desk was the best! After dealing with a massive cockroach issue at the Wyndham down the road, Tracy helped my boyfriend get a room last minute. Our room is great! It’s clean, spacious and exactly what we needed after what we dealt with over at Wyndham.

Beautiful place great service. The room was a very clean and comfortable bed. The only thing I noticed was that the flooring was coming up and some soft spots in the room. Everything looked to be new also.
